February 2005 - "I wanted to check in again now that it has been almost two years since
we picked up our pup Abby (she was puppy #1 for your litter on 2/2/03). Abby
continues to learn and develop her personality with us. She enjoys being
part of the family and amusing us with her antics."
"She had a good first season putting up some pheasants and retrieving wood ducks this past fall. I am very impressed with her drive and
determination when she scents a bird."
"I wish I had a digitized photo to send you since she's grown into a
terrific young lady (I hope to have one soon)..."
August 2004 - "Abbey is doing great. Today she actually scratched at the door to go out and she has been sleeping through the night after the first week. We took her camping this past week and she did great. She cried for about 30 seconds when we put her in the kennel. She's getting a lot of attention and our golden has kind of adopted her as her own. They play well together- Abbey actually tried to nurse on her last week, but Sara was having nothing to do with it.
We are all really enjoying her."
April 2006 - "Abbey is doing real well. She has a very pleasant and easy go lucky type of personality. She loves to retrieve, (and play keep away from Eppie and Daisy) and has an appetite like you wouldn't believe. She can consume 3 cups of dog food faster than you can count to ten. She retrieves dead pigeons but prefers to just chase and play with the clip wings. We all really like her."

October 2006 - "I just wanted to take a minute and say hello and give you an update on Ally. First and foremost we LOVE her to pieces! She is a very happy girl who loves to play and loves us all very much too. She has adjusted well and is doing great with her training...."
"The most exciting part is that 2 weeks ago she got her first woodcock and grouse, and this past weekend she flushed 5 more! Ed, needless to say, was thrilled! She still needs more work in the field, after all she is only 5 months old, but showing LOTS of desire and drive."
October 2006 - "I thought I’d send you a couple of pictures and let you know how Annabelle is doing. Today I shot my first pheasant with her. For a pup of less than six months she was fantastic today. She didn’t want to pose very well for a picture because she was so fired up. From watching her today I have very high hopes that she’ll be a great pheasant dog."
"I also sent you a picture of Anna and Chloe. They are very good together. Anna never nibbled Chloe like she did Darcy and I. Somehow she must have known that Chloe was a "puppy" too. It's been great watching them grow up together."
"I definitely think we picked the right breeder and we appreciate the correspondence we had over the winter and spring months. I will keep you informed of her progress."
